Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival at the medical office - Schedule and confirm patient appointments, both in-person and over the phone - Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details and will also collect payments for servcies - Assist with medical administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and record keeping - Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as necessary - Answer patient inquiries and provide information about services offered - Ensure a clean and organized reception are
Experience:
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting preferred - Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures - Proficient in using office software and electronic medical records systems - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations within the medical office.
